Cold and sunny, lots of ice and frost. I go the steep way up to Muttersmoor this afternoon and try to get back down again before it gets dark, keeping moving to stay warm. Sunrise is about 8.05, sunset about 16.06. The nights have been clear and cold lately which has been very good for looking at the stars. Orion is back up prominent again, followed by Sirius. I also think I can see Mars as well. I wouldn't want to stay out here too long at night at the moment and am glad to have a place to go back to.

December is here already and it is time for the final installment of the Vernon Hill Arcadian calender for 1910. Also included today are a few notes of explanation as to what the whole thing has been about. Now I have to try and find another nice calender to put up next year.
