Favorites: #s 4, 5 and 7. #2 - very Zen. You could almost hold it upside down and get the same. I love those. Actually, these are all fabulous.
Praises you were there at that exact moment in time.
Wonderful work John, just remarkable, so sensitive. Frame them all and hang in a long, wide whitewashed hall.

Many compliments, nina

Hello there Nina. We were lucky with the sky that night, it was all a bit magical. So often around here it is cloudy and we don't always get to see the moon big, but this was one of those rare warm summer nights that we never seem to get much anymore. When I was young I can remember sitting on the beach at night and it being warm, but that hardly ever happens these days. It would be nice to get some printed up, it's not something I do much. Thanks very much Nina and cheers.

fab shots John, in the third the sea appears to bulge.

Thanks aferrismoon. I reckon it's either lens distortion or the pull of the moon. Maybe a bit of both. I had trouble focusing the camera, hence the last one, which works almost like a fade out. cheers for now.

Actually, I had a look at that photo again and I see what you mean. The horizon is flat, I think, but the sea does appear to bulge. hmm...

Choukran Reem. It was a lovely night to be down the beach and warm as well which doesn't happen here much, more paddling than swimming but very pleasant nonetheless. I hope all is good for the holy month of fasting and wish you all the best with that. We pray for peace in Syria too.

The summer has been unusual this year as we actually have summery weather, not something that happened last year. At the moment it is all seagulls around here, with the young ones hatching and hopefully learning to fly. I don't really like seagulls much; there are too many of them and they are very, very noisy, still they have a right to be here...

Thanks again Reem.
