WOW..glistening and glorious..
Metallic, reflective all encompassing swirling liquid mass.
Alive and full of life.

The Endless Sea:

Oh baby, what a place to be
In the service of the bourgeoisie
Where can my believers be
I wanna jump into the endless sea

Oh, oh the endless sea
Oh, oh the endless sea
I wanna jump into the endless sea
Let it wash all over me

Above us is a dirty sky
Full of youths and liquors
A little girl, a little guy
This air can't get much thicker

Oh, oh the endless sea
Oh, oh the endless sea
Oh, oh the endless sea
Let it wash all over me

And when you're tight for the rent
You think you're gonna break
But you know it's no damn good
Just one more phony on the take

You better go home, buddy
I really think,
You better go home, buddy
You better go home, buddy

The endless sea

This image is a wow image..i love it.
Hope you are well and the teeth are a bit better :)
You can see how the impressionists tried to copy the light and fluid of the sea/ water..this photo is indicative of that.
Cheers and regards A

Hi and thanks A. I find this part of the sea below the sun always to be a bit hypnotizing. I like the horizon of the sea where it meets the sky, it never looks quite real somehow. I remember that song too, I heard it first on the soundtrack to the film 'Dogs in Space' with Michael Hutchence. I always felt sorry about how he ended up, no-one deserves that. There were rumours he was bumped off I think. Neither he nor Paula Yates had much luck in the end. I always wondered why Bob Geldof got all the plaudits for live aid when Midge Ure's role has always gone unrecognised. It's a good song of Iggy's, that one, the sea does seem endless sometimes and despite the pollution a place to make oneself pure somehow.

Beaut photo

The sea seems to roll over the horizon , as if some immense waterfall.

I shamelessly promote some of mine from landlocked Prague and environs

Thanks aferrismoon. I'm sure Prague would be an interesting place to take photos. I don't know much about the countryside there but the city has always looked good. The street of the philosophers and the clock to to wake the sleepers up. I'll pop over and have a look. Thanks again.

The countryside is great, woods, forests, rolling hills [ mountains are in Slovakia ], fine villages etc complemented by post-commie industrial downfall, quarries and immense opencast mines.

cheers

HI John, RE Hutchence..IMO he was offed..I was living in Sydney at the time that it happened and was in disbelief at his supposed "accident" with auto erotic actions gone wrong. That is bullshit if ever i heard it..there was a certain element of "payback" to his death that one cannot ignore..I like Michael too much to attempt a suspicious death post on it..but as with Paula..both of them were doomed, as they upset the knighted one..
have you heard his version of "the passenger" another song by Iggy..
It was used in the Batman forever movie from wayback then..

Thanks A13 I'll have a look at those.. I remember it being reported somewhere that Michaels body showed signs of him being beaten up, not something you would do to yourself really. They both did seem doomed. For what it's worth I think geldof is a prime tosser.

ha ha! The teeth are ok at the moment thanks, just a bit of mysterious minor swelling, which is about as good as they get.
